Finance Manager

Title: Finance Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Remote / Lagos (Hybrid)

Overview

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Finance Manager to provide full financial visibility and control for Kle Studio.

This role goes beyond basic accounting. You will be responsible for tracking performance, improving financial systems, and helping the company make smarter business decisions.

You will work closely with the CEO to ensure the company is:

  • Profitable
  • Financially structured
  • Set up for growth

 


Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Tracking & Reporting (Core Responsibility)

  • Track all revenue, expenses, and profit across the business
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Produce clear monthly financial reports (not just raw data)
  • Break down:
    • Revenue by service
    • Cost of delivery
    • Net profit
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities

The goal is simple:
At any point, we should know exactly where the business stands financially.


2. Invoicing, Payments & Cash Flow Management

  • Manage invoicing systems and ensure timely payments
  • Track all incoming payments (Paystack integration)
  • Ensure consistent and predictable cash flow
  • Flag potential cash flow issues early

 


3. Financial Systems & Process Optimization

  • Set up and manage tools like Zoho Books
  • Build simple, efficient financial workflows
  • Improve how finances are tracked and reported
  • Ensure systems are scalable as the company grows

 


4. Cost Control & Profit Optimization

  • Identify unnecessary expenses and cost leaks
  • Analyze project profitability
  • Recommend pricing improvements where necessary
  • Help ensure the company operates efficiently

 


5. Strategic Financial Support

  • Support decision-making with financial insights
  • Advise on:
    • Hiring decisions
    • Pricing strategies
    • Investment opportunities
  • Help the CEO understand:
    • What’s working
    • What’s not
    • What needs to change

 


Requirements

  • Strong background in accounting or finance
  • Experience with small businesses or agencies (preferred)
  • Familiarity with tools like Zoho Books, Excel
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to simplify complex financial data into clear insights
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail

  • Financial Clarity: Up-to-date, accurate reporting at all times
  • Cash Flow Health: No unexpected shortfalls
  • Profit Visibility: Clear understanding of margins per service/project
  • System Efficiency: Smooth, automated financial workflows
  • Expense Control: Reduction of unnecessary costs over time
